Wishing you all a very happy, safe and prosperous Diwali. May the Diwali lights fill your life with joy and contentment and may each day of next year be as bright and lovely as this special day.
I simply love Diwali because of the lights all around, the slight winter chill, lots of shopping and exchanging gifts. Every year I wonder what unique gift to give to my loved ones, so that they savor the personal touch associated with the gift. Every year I boggle my mind and finally end up giving those stereotyped kitchen or furnishing article or a box of chocolates or dry fruits. I am sure most of you would also be in the same dilemma every Diwali season.
This year though, I am changing the way I am gifting. I am creating my own beautiful gift box with a hand-made card on top and giving it to everyone filled with chocolates and Diwali candles. In fact it is not the chocolates and candles that I am filling it with. It is the love and personal touch that it is being filled with.
The box is made of heavy GSM cardstock, embellished with laces, pearls and ribbons. On top of the box, I have attached a card, in a unique fashion so that card can be made to stand on the box as shown in the pictures below. This will make the whole box and the card a good table-top item for anyone who receives it.
The card is hand-made embellished with paper die-cutting using martha stewart punch , marianne dies, spellbinders dies , mulberry flowers, laces and message stamps. Inside the box, besides chocolates and candles, I have also placed some unique resins embellishments which will add that wow factor when the receiver of this unique gift would open the box.

I am sure you would surely try this unique Gift Box with Stand Up Card and add that personal touch to your gift. Please let me know how you liked this unique idea.
